April 26, 2011 - GBI hosted its first exclusive closed-door roundtable meeting with 18 senior leaders from MNC pharmaceutical companies at the Shanghai Four Seasons Hotel. GBI CEO Matthew Chervenak and Ropes & Gray partner Arthur Mok delivered presentations on China's current pharma business deal landscape which was later followed by an interactive roundtable discussion. Mr. Mok discussed legal issues regarding China's life sciences deal landscape while Mr. Chervenak shared his expertise on deal valuation methods tailored to the China market.

April 25, 2011 - GBI CEO and AmCham's Healthcare Committee Chair Matthew Chervenak shared his insights at the Committee's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan Series" meeting. McKinsey partner Franck Le Deu also presented his views on the important elements of the FYP with implications for the healthcare industry.
